As of August 1, 2024, Interactive Brokers Central Europe Zrt. (IBCE) is no longer a member of the Investor Protection Fund of Hungary (IPF), as from that date it was merged into Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited (IBIE) as part of a cross-border merger. Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited is a member of the Irish investor compensation scheme (The Investor Compensation Company DAC (ICCL)), so from the date of the merger, former clients of IBCE are no longer under the protection of IPF, but of the Irish investor compensation scheme.
